The Ruben room.
The Ruben room images were created for famous US interior designer Thom Filicia for his “Decorating from the Floor Up” seminars. This work was started after just a couple of days notice and completed over a very short time scale (less than one week).
The images were based on just a single photograph of a room and everything was modeled from scratch, as many of the furniture items were either antique or custom designs.
This project was a joint work with Yazan Malkosh (Null Studios|Institute, Jordan), Ahmed Alireza and Brad Peebler (Luxology). Here, at StudioVee, I was responsible for creating an initial mock-up and camera match, the room volume, the initial lighting set-up, the sofa with cushions and the lounge chair.
Three separate looks were created for this room based around fabric samples from the client. Note, the images below have been reduced in size, truncated and the quality has been reduced a bit in order to optomise them for web use.
