Request a Quotation / Fee Estimate
The StudioVee Difference
I offer free advice relating to visualisation work and will point you in the right direction if the service you require is outside the scope of the work that I undertake.
Request a quotation
I have created a handy Quotation Request form (a single A4 sheet) to simpllfy this task. Please download it...
- Quote Request Form .pdf - requires Adobe® Reader.
- Quote Request Form .doc - requires OpenOffice (OSX,Win,Linux) or MS Word.
To receive a quote please send this form along with other relevant information such as a brief, plan drawings (DWG,DXF,PDF) and conceptual drawings to:
- info "at" vee3d.com
How much will it cost?
Each project is priced on an individual basis. However, please note the follwing:
- Lighting variations of the original image can be produced for a small additional fee (versus the usual per image cost).
- Colour scheme variations of the original image can be produced for a small additional fee (versus the usual per image cost).
- Per image fees are reduced when muliple images are required.
Some other factors which affect cost are:
- The level of detail required in the final images.
- Image size.
How long will it take?
The time taken depends on the complexity of the work incolved. Typically projects take between one and four weeks depending upon whats required.
Its best to get in contact at the earliest stage of your project, since this will give you more time for creative input, so you’ll get the most from the images commissioned.
Who owns what?
The artist retains ownership of any models and images produced and you are granted useage rights for the work. These Rights will give you unlimited use of these images for the purpose described in your brief.
Agreement (or Engagement)
In general, before any work is started an agreement must be in place and in most cases a “Letter of Agreement” (or similar) is suitable. This is used to define both the scope and terms of the project in order to remove any ambiguity between the Client and the Artist. Such agreements are based on guidelines set down by the Graphic Artists Guild.
However, authorisation to proceed may also be given by email under certain conditions.
Please note that cancellation fees apply. The fee charged is 50% of project cost if cancelled during Phase One (modeling of scene) and 100% of project cost if cancelled during Phase Two (scsne layout and rendering).
